History

Freshport Asia is a new company that was formed by combining the three established businesses of the founders. 

Coolcargo established in Bangkok UK & HK Contract with Bangkok Flight Services for Cold Room operations management.
Patents registered for temperature controlled ground handling dollies.
Successful shipments of unbroken cold chain packing house to import clearing agent.  

Contracts with Bangkok Flight Services and Thai Cargo to provide value added services.
Special Care Cold Chain service provides regular services for fresh produce exporters.

First direct Cold Chain service trials between Chiang Mai and Phuket.
500 Shipments error free / no defects or claims.
Coolcargo becomes a separate line of business with Freshport Asia.
Services support to DHL Lifeconex cold chain program.
Import PharmaCare established at Bangkok Flight Services.

Coolcargo has now been used by 14 Exporters & 13 Airlines to UK Europe, Japan Australia & US.

Chris Catto-Smith

Has broad experience managing in supply chain implementation & logistics improvement. He has led a number of high visibility turnaround projects involving construction, systems implementation and corporate restructuring. He was program manager for a major retailers' SCM implementation for Asia Pacific. Most recently he established the Coolcargo value added logistics service at Bangkok Airport.
